Patricia “Patti” Thomas Martin was born in Anniston, Alabama, where she lived until her family moved to Pompano Beach in South Florida in early 1966. Patti accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 10 in Alabama, but her faith began to grow at Pompano Youth Ranch (a ministry of Florida Bible College) in the fall of 1966. A closely-knit group of Pompano grads attended Florida Bible together in the fall of 1968.
Patti met her husband, Tom Martin, at Florida Bible College, from which they both graduated. Tom graduated in 1971, and Patti in 1972.
In the fall of 1975, Patti started working at Florida Christian School in Miami, Florida and served there as a teacher, Dean of Girls, Technology Coordinator, Network Admin, and more until May 2009 when she retired.
Tom and Patti now live in the north Georgia mountains near the town of Blue Ridge.
Patti served the FBC alumni with the old FBCAA for several years and began building a correct database of graduates, faculty, and staff. She is currently Registrar at Clarity Christian College.
